“We share knowledge with Wikipedia.
It is time to share activities with WikiAct!”

This document is a call for request of a new worldwide platform to capture activities.

Why does sharing mean caring?

We live in a world of competition. Kids and pupils are trained to solve problems alone, to fight against each other and to become better than others. The whole economy is based on competition and working against each other as a fundamental principle. Of course there is some collaboration, but it seems still to be a sign of weakness.

Over the last years we have seen many examples of great collaboration on a large scale. One of the best examples is Wikipedia where mankind is sharing knowledge. It has dramatically changed how we deal with information, knowledge and insights. Very often Wikipedia is the starting point of a deeper research on a new topic.

What is the intention of WikiAct?

We already know that solving problems on a large scale needs better ways to work together, to share not only knowledge but also findings, project plans, results, checklists, algorithms, best practices.

So, I propose a new platform, which I call WikiAct, where everybody can search for projects to get templates and plans, but also mentors and supporters for starting an own project in the same topic space and where everybody can share results and key findings of their own projects with mankind.

After some time WikiAct is the encyclopedia of activities.

Let me know if you want to support WikiAct!
